About Me

Amandeep

I come from an Indian heritage, a line of healers which has run through my family for generations and I have been blessed with a gift and I would like to share with the world.

With over 20 years of experience in the NHS, my career has been dedicated to mental health, with a strong focus on supporting children, young people, and families. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, I have worked extensively within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), helping young individuals navigate emotional and psychological challenges.

My passion lies in working through a trauma-focused lens. I firmly believe that unresolved trauma can manifest in many ways, affecting emotional well-being, physical health, and daily life. To support deep healing, I specialise in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and recover from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. EMDR is a powerful tool that allows the brain to reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact and fostering resilience.

Beyond frontline care, I have held roles in NHS Management and Operational Leadership, including leading the Children and Young People’s Community Eating Disorder Service (CYP CEDS). These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of mental health policies, clinical governance, and best practices, ensuring that my approach is grounded in both expertise and compassion.

Alongside my clinical work, I have always been drawn to holistic healing and self-recovery. I am deeply fascinated by the mind-body connection—how emotional pain can manifest as physical symptoms, creating a cycle that keeps us feeling stuck.

Holistic therapies provide a deeper understanding of the ‘whole person’, working to align the mind, body, and soul for true healing. As a trained and certified Usui Reiki practitioner (Level 1 & 2) in both Western and Japanese traditions, I offer a space of relaxation, calmness, and tranquillity—something we all need in today’s fast-paced world.

If you are ready to explore healing, whether through trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, or holistic practices, I welcome you to take the next step toward your journey of self-discovery and transformation.
